These terms cover your use of The Hot Seat, a tool for rehearsing pitches and hard conversations against a panel of AI characters. By using the app, you agree to them. This is a template and not legal advice.
Acceptable use
Use The Hot Seat to practice and prepare. Don't use it to break the law, to harass or harm other people, to generate content that targets or demeans someone, or to try to misuse, attack, or reverse the underlying AI or the service. Don't enter other people's private or confidential information, and only upload a photo of someone if you have the right to use it.
AI output is fiction for rehearsal — not professional advice
The panelists are fictional characters generated by AI to help you rehearse. What they say is invented and can be wrong, biased, or simply made up. It is not professional advice of any kind — not legal, financial, medical, or therapeutic advice — and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional. Don't rely on it for real decisions. If you need real advice, talk to a licensed professional; if you may be in crisis, please use the support resources the app surfaces or contact local emergency services.
No warranty
The Hot Seat is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don't promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, or fit for any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, The Hot Seat and the people behind it won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising out of your use of (or inability to use) the service or your reliance on anything the AI produces.
Age requirement
You must be at least 13 years old to use The Hot Seat. By using it, you confirm that you are.
Changes and termination
We may change, suspend, or discontinue the service (or any part of it) at any time, and we may update these terms as the app evolves. When we make a meaningful change to the terms, we'll update the date at the top. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the updated terms.
